blessings
Ambrose Musiyiwa

the priest blessed you
blessed your comrades-in-arms
blessed the weapons you carried
blessed the ground you stood on
blessed the diggers that would dig the holes you would be buried in
told you god was on your side
told you victory and glory were yours
took a collection for holy mother church

the priest blessed your tanks
blessed your landmines
blessed your anti-tank missiles
blessed your fighter jets
blessed your anti-aircraft missiles
blessed the arms manufacturers
blessed the arms dealers
told them god was on their side
took a collection for holy mother church
