We have crisscrossed the country in our search for a better life (a one more suitable for us)
we we have we have been stung by the word
we crossed the sea on a raft and the water was a mirror calling us by our names with a perfect british accent (giving us a distorted reflection of ourselves)
we we have we have been stung by the word
we crowned a king but he died afterwards with the crown on his head (his daughter had to scare the vultures away as they were drawing perfect circles above us)
we we have we have been stung by the word
but the word's poison hasn't come out yet it stays still in our blood so we spoke as an attempt
